Training Refresher for Pandemic Pups and Covid Dogs
In this Pandemic Pups and Covid Dogs 2 hour workshop we’ll specifically address puppies and dogs who had their routine or training affected by the pandemic. They may have forgotten their training, or become socially awkward. Therefore, this is a refresher workshop on everything. We’ll cover Recall, Loose Leash Walking, Tricks, how to behave around other dogs, and whatever pops up on the day. Barbara wrote an article for Australian Dog Lover about covid dogs, so join this workshop if this sounds like your dog: Covid Dogs: Lonely and Socially Inept!
Goodog teaches dog workshops on either Wednesday evenings 5–7pm at Terrey Hills Scout Hall, or Thursday afternoons 1–3pm at Terrey Hills Girl Guides. Workshops are scheduled every few months when there is enough interest, so if there is no course scheduled or you’d like to know about future workshops, add your name to our waitlist. The workshop runs for 2 hours, starting with a 15 minute introduction on the theory and then two 45 minutes practical training sessions.
Prerequisites: any dog or puppy who is friendly with people and other dogs can join. Yes, they may be a little awkward due to the pandemic, but as long as they are not reactive then they can join.

Your trainer is: Barbara
In 2015 Barbara completed her Diploma in Canine Behaviour Science and Technology at the Companion Animal Sciences Institute in Canada. Your trainer is: Barbara In 2015 Barbara completed her Diploma in Canine Behaviour Science and Technology at the Companion Animal Sciences Institute in Canada.
Barbara has been involved in dog training for the last 20 years and has completed her Certificate IV in Companion Animal Services with the Delta Society in 2007 and is a professional member of the Delta Institute.
She competes in the dog sport of Agility and Rally O and Shellbe (a German short-haired pointer) competes on Master level in Agility and Rally O. Chillax, one of Shellbe’s puppies, competes in Rally O and got his Rally Novice title in October 2019. He is just starting out in Agility.
