Classes, Consultations & Training

Exchanges or switching classes

  • Goodog attempts to accommodate clients who are unable to attend a class, however we cannot guarantee an alternative class will be available (unless agreed upon when booking the course).
  • Requests to switch class booking locations can be actioned more than 7 days prior to the original class commencing. In most circumstances a change can be actioned, however this depends on availability and booking history changes and may be decided on a case-by-case basis.
  • Requests to switch class booking locations less than 7 days before, or after the original commencement date must be sent to Goodog on renee@goodog.com.au. Goodog may be able to move your booking to a different class or later date, however will offer refunds or class changes on a case-by-case basis. Alternate class dates depend on availability.
  • Puppy Preschool changes take into account the age of your puppy. If a puppy is above the age limit by the time an alternate class is available, a make-up class in Puppy Preschool might not be possible.

Missed classes, cancellations and illness

  • Goodog attempts to accommodate clients who are unable to attend a class, however we cannot guarantee an alternative class will be available (unless agreed upon when booking the course).
  • If you must miss an individual class, Goodog requires at least 48 hours notice before the class time. Goodog will attempt to find an alternative make-up class, however alternate class dates depend on availability and may be a repeat of a class completed previously.
  • For no-shows and cancellations with less than 48 hours notice, substitute classes cannot be arranged.
  • If you are ill, email Goodog on renee@goodog.com.au prior to the class you will miss. Goodog will attempt to find an alternative make-up class, however alternate class dates depend on availability and may be a repeat of a class completed previously.
  • Puppy Preschool changes take into account the age of your puppy. If a puppy is above the age limit by the time an alternate class is available, a make-up class in Puppy Preschool might not be possible.
  • If you must cancel a One-on-One consultation, Goodog requires at least 48 hours notice before the scheduled time. A cancellation fee of $125 applies if cancellations are made less than 48 hours before the scheduled time.

Refunds

  • Puppy & Teenage classes: Refunds are not offered once clients receive the 1st Lesson (which is usually the day of booking), or the eBook. If you ask to cancel prior to receiving your first lesson or eBook, a refund is offered.
  • Other classes: Goodog does not offer refunds once LIVE classes have commenced or if a cancellation is made less than 7 days before the class. Any refund after this time is at the discretion of Goodog.
  • Partial refunds: Goodog may offer a partial refund in some circumstances. Partial refunds depend on booking history, and may be decided on a case-by-case basis.
    • If merchandise such as a paperback book or eBook or online lessons have been received by the purchaser, the retail cost of the merchandise, plus lesson, plus administration costs won’t be refunded. The book or eBook is not refundable in a class package.
  • Vaccine status: if a client indicates they are fully-vaccinated on the booking form but is unable to show us their government vaccine status or accredited exemption in class, no refund will be offered.
  • Health orders: If there is a change to the NSW Health order or health alert and in-person training is affected, classes move either outdoors, to another location or time, online (LIVE), or extra attendee numbers are reduced. Therefore as classes continue, no refund is offered. However, if you attend two or more At-Home LIVE classes and complete the course, Goodog offers additional in-person socialisation once the health order eases, at no extra cost.
  • If you have started a class and do not want to continue or would like to move to a different class, please contact Goodog on renee@goodog.com.au. Goodog may be able to move your booking to a different class or later date, however will offer refunds or class changes on a case-by-case basis. Alternate class dates depend on availability.
  • Goodog offers refunds using your original payment method or, where appropriate and at Goodog’s sole discretion.
  • Gift Cards or prize offers are not refundable. To change a booking made by a gift card or prize offer, see the Exchanges or switching classes section on the Goodog returns and shipping policy.

One-on-One

  • Cancellations for One-on-One consultations require at least 48 hours notice before the scheduled time. A cancellation fee of $125 applies if cancellations are made less than 48 hours before the scheduled time.

Gift Certificates

  • Gift recipients must contact Goodog to book into a class date and should do this early. All bookings are pending availability.
  • Gift certificates can be used for up to 1 year from purchase and can be switched to other class locations, or classes of equal or lesser value.
  • Gift certificates are nonrefundable.

Merchandise

Refunds

  • Physical merchandise: 
    • Goodog offers refunds up to 14 days from receipt of your item. This period is calculated from the received date on the postal tracking information, to the return postage date.
    • Goods must be in original condition and proof of purchase presented (email invoice or receipt).
    • Refunds are processed once items are delivered back to Goodog and checked for their condition.
    • Goodog is not responsible for return shipping costs or items lost or damaged during return shipping.
    • Goodog advises that returned parcels are tracked to guarantee arrival or to be covered by the Australia Post lost/damaged item policy – Australia Post.
    • Email renee@goodog.com.au if you would like to return your item.
    • If you received physical merchandise such as a paperback book as part of a class bundle, the retail cost of the physical merchandise is not refundable.
  • Digital merchandise: 
    • No refunds are offered on digital merchandise. An example of digital merchandise is an eBook.
    • If you received digital merchandise such as an eBook as part of a class bundle, the retail cost of the digital merchandise is not refundable.

Exchanges

Goodog shipping

Shipping: Australia

  • Shipping costs are displayed on the product page.
  • The flat rate for book purchases is $9.90 (AUD) for a two book bundle i.e. 1-2 items $9.90, 3-4 items $19.80, add $9.90 per additional 2 items.
  • If also booking into a Goodog class, please purchase the class and book separately (two transactions) as the shipping can be affected.
  • Merchandise orders are shipped via Australia Post.
  • Goodog emails recipients once items are shipped. If the item has not arrived within 10 business days of the sent date, please email renee@goodog.com.au along with your order number. 
  • Once Goodog can ascertain from Australia Post that the item is lost, Goodog will send the item again.
  • Goodog only ships throughout Australia. For shipping to other countries, see Shipping: to all countries excluding Australia below.
