Kicking dogs is not a training method

I try to be civil in my comments and try to be fair with trainers who use methods I would not use because I think they are not necessary and in no ones best interest.
There is also solid scientific evidence that punishment based methods (and this includes so called ‘balanced’ methods) do more harm than good.
However, if someone kicks, hits and yells at dogs in the name of training I am getting really angry (and upset). Especially if I try to pick up the pieces and console owner and dog.
If the same trainer then recommends euthanasia because the dog has bitten someone it is pure hypocrisy.
When then checking the credentials and education of said trainer and there is nothing there it becomes scary.

Oh and do not get me wrong, I make mistakes but I learn every day and I acknowledge my limitations.
