This week’s puppy class with Wilma, Daisy and Roxie built on last week’s play session — same puppies, more skills, more learning 
Alongside supervised puppy play, we focused on safety skills that are just as important as socialisation, including:
- Food bowl exercises
- Exchanging items safely
- Gentle handling
- Early education around resource guarding
- Keeping kids and dogs safe together
These exercises help puppies learn that people approaching, handling or taking items is safe and predictable — reducing the risk of guarding behaviour as they grow.
In our Northern Beaches puppy training classes, we don’t just teach cues. We teach puppies how to cope with real-life situations in a calm, supported way.
Good puppy training isn’t only about play — it’s about building confidence, trust and safe habits that last.
Our play sessions are supervised, safe and focussed on building confidence, polite greetings, appropriate play styles, seeing body language in action and most importantly… FUN!
