Our reactive dogs and stressed out owners course is a first for the Northern Beaches and helps you and your dog to refocus, relax and make walks enjoyable again.
This class is designed for dogs who react towards other dogs on leash. They bark, lunge or growl.
Our main aim is to teach your dog focus on you, ignore other dogs and walk calmly past them. We teach you how to deal with the challenges of a reactive dog in a positive way.
The course goes for 5 weeks, 50 minutes each week, the first class being dog free and going for 1.25 hours.
This is a joint class between Goodog and Canine Kindergarten. The two main instructors are Maxine Fernandez and Barbara Hodel and both holding a Diploma of Canine Behavior Science and Technology (Dip.CBST) from the Companion Animal Sciences Institute in Canada and a Cert IV in Companion Animal Services from Delta.
This is not a class for dogs who are aggressive towards humans or have a bite history. If that is your dog is please contact us for further assessment or a one on one consultation.
