Dog poisoning Northern Beaches: ‘Leave-It’ Workshop
The recent news of dog poisoning on the northern beaches makes us think twice about exercising dogs. Poisoning is scary and dangerous. Therefore, Goodog has brought back the ‘Leave-It’ Workshop. This workshop is designed to create confidence when outside and to prevent dogs from picking up unknown items or baits.
In this workshop Barbara teaches a solid ‘leave it’ cue. The ‘leave it’ cue assists in reaching any unknown items before your dog can – and potentially save their life.

More about Barbara:
Barbara completed a Diploma in Canine Behaviour Science and Technology at the Companion Animal Sciences Institute in Canada (http://casinstitute.com).
Also, Barbara has 15 years experience in dog training and completed the Canine Good Citizen Behavioural Dog Training Course with the Delta Society, the premier-recognised dog training organisation in Australia. Barbara also achieved a Certificate IV in Companion Animal Services as a Delta-accredited instructor in 2007
Furthermore, Barbara is a member of the Delta Institute, The Pet Professional Guild Australia and the Association of Pet Dog Trainers Australia (APDT). And a registered breeder with Dogs NSW with the first litter of German Shorthaired Pointers in December 2014.
Previous study: Barbara holds a Master’s Degree in Modern European History and Economics from the University of Berne (Switzerland) and a MBA (Master of Business Administration) from Southern Cross University Australia. In addition, Barbara has in-depth experience in adult education and training and taught high school and university students in Berne and college students in Sydney. Additionally, Barbara tough middle and top management employees of a large public corporation in Switzerland.
